Sobaka Studio and Feed 64 have confirmed a release date for their absurd monochrome roguelike platformer Gennady on Nintendo Switch.
After waking up in an alien meat factory, Gennady must use his fists, alien weaponry and hurl his own body as a projectile to make his way out.
You will be challenged to rip through bloodstained walls, acidic barriers, and alien scum, entering Rage Mode to become an invulnerable force to pummel even more extraterrestrial heathens. The more threats you exterminate, the longer the rage ensues.
Shields, ammo and other useful trinkets will help make you more effective on each roguelike run, upgrading Gennady’s abilities and weapons to topple colossal boss encounters standing in the way of your freedom.
“Gennady was a perfect title for us to port and publish on consoles, as a brutal action game like the ones we make ourselves, but with a distinct monochromatic look,” explains Sobaka Studio head Dmitry Kachkov. “We couldn’t let PC players hog this one to themselves.”
Gennady will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 28 October 2026.
